Which charities does this event support?
In 2019, our featured beneficiaries have been:
Special Olympics of Northern California and their yearly programs offer free services for athletes that participate in a plethora of sports.
Our event has paved the way for the diabetic community, by assisting the mission of Type I -Diabetes Research (Children’s Diabetes). In recent years, we have seen the fruit of our giving reach new heights. Science is knocking at the door for life-changing developments with the Artificial Pancreas that helps monitor blood sugar levels and insulin production.
Football has a very special place in these legendary Coaches’ hearts. Another cause we support is High School football programs. By providing financial resources for updated equipment and money towards football helmets that help protect the athletes from high-impact collisions.
The Mariucci Family Foundation is a great steward and does a phenomenal job with their annual Down Syndrome football camp. Proceed from the tournament helps this one-of-a-kind event that allows special kids & adults the platform to play football in several cities across the USA. The foundation also supports the Beacon House, where the Mariucci Family Foundation directly gives in support of their “Home away from home” for patients and families that travel across the U.P. to receive specialty medical care.
